Hi all,I have this crazy theory that's been nagging me since H2O came out,I knida feel that Laurie may not actuly be dead, well look how it happened,An important part of the Halloween Saga,Killed off so quickley in the begining,I mean I KNOW!we all saw Her fall from the top of the Sanatarum Roof,But,If you all noticed she fell in some Shrubs,I just don't know?

That wasn't H20....the was Resurrection Anyway, when you think about it, didn't Michael stab her before she fell? ? Not saying she couldn't survive it, but these theories of Laurie surviving are kinda getting annoying. It was a crappy way to start the movie by killing off the main charecter(besides Myers) but honestly, she's dead....leave it at that.

I love this topic! To be honest, the only thing that kept my ass from walking out of Resurrection was the hope that Laurie would show up again in the last reel. I was so upset that they killed her. Guess I'll just have to live with the disappointment.

If they had never did this remake I bet they would have done another sequel and bring back Laurie to fight Michael one more time.

No, they should have made another movie picking up where Resurrection left off.

I would be able to agree with lex's comment a lot more if the original Halloween was the only film that had been made prior to Resurrection (and if Resurrection didn't contain the opening scene with Laurie). I say this because in the original, Michael Myers was sort of an enigma. You had no idea why he was doing what he was doing, and from the audience's point of view, Michael really didn't have a specific target...he was just a guy that felt the need to kill people. This is basically the way he acted throught Resurrection after he killed Laurie. To me, this made no sense because as we learned in Halloween 2, Michael DID have a specific targer, hence there was a reason he was doing what he was doing. I dunno...even though I HATE that they killed Laurie, and therefore pretty much hated Resurrection altogether, that film did, in a way, restore some of the purity that the original Halloween had.
