This movie was so polished.
It had great camera work, compared to the other movies prior to this one, which were more along the lines of an amateur video.
Should Halloween movies be more, or less along the lines of polished?
Does the amateur video work make a movie scarier?
( Amateur video tends to be shakier shots, done with camera that are hand held, like the Blair Witch Project, for example )

i think ya on to something there. the more amateur it looks the scarier it looks, look at Blair witch that was one crap film but people got scared because it looked so real. for me H20 was not scary at all and was to me probably the worst

Think of this.
If you could balance the two types of shooting, you could possibly be the most sought after Camera Director in the buisness.
Hey Chadman, when are we going to start SHOOTING???

didn't they do a little of that in Halloween Resurrection? you know with the cameras attached to their heads.

gremlins is definitely right, they did use the camera on the heads, and for me resurection was way scarier that h20 (allthough none were really that scary) but yeah, i think that the more amateur the scarier.
