-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In the H2O movie, there was a scene that showed Michael cutting across the neck of the woman in the window. ( It was the same woman Michael stole the car from in the first movie. )
The knife was not good to show at that angle. It looked like the knife was merely on the surface of the skin.
The collapsible blade was a good invention, it just needs to be improved. if the blade was to depress across the edge instead of the point, that shot would have been more believable.

i never noticed it to be honest. when i was younger i had a toy knife where when you stabbed someone the blade went back in the handle! is that what you mean?

Yes.
It is supposed to look like the blade enters into the dermal area, or the inner area where the majority of the other organs / veins / arteries are held.

If you pause the movie (I think it was at ) 8 minutes and 41 seconds on chapter 1 (or 2) you'll see that a part of the knife has been cut out or reshaped and that the knife already has blood on it and was just smeared across her neck.Best seen on DVD.
