This is by far the worst sequel in the franchise. The director was obviously in it for the money, and the film was rushed into production all because of the success of H4, meaning that the story and crew was not of importance for this one, it was only done to cash in. Moustapha Akkad even regreted making it so soon after H4, not enouph time was spent. Here are some of the things I hated most about H5. Rachel getting stalked in the middle of the day, when it's a bright and beautiful day out...that's not creepy at all! Then she gets killed in the middle of the movie... I would have had her sacrifice her life to save Jamie or at least have her die in a heroic way, not with a lame pair of scissors. And then when Tina is outside and you see Michael walking around out there and it's still the middle of the day, it's not scary, it's just pathetic. You would think they would try to make it scary with the music but the music was terrible, not scary at all. Of course the beginning, lets have some hermit nurse Michael back to health for a year even though every person in town fears him...you would think he would have heard something about Michael Myers.. Those 2 retard cops really pissed me off... this is a horror movie is it not? Every time we saw those cops they were playing goofy music... how pathetic. Then Michael was driving around trying to run people over... which he didn't even succeed at doing...and then lets have Michael crying, that will really scare the audience.
Why in the hell would you change the myers house! They made it out to be a castle in this one, how retarded is that. Then, we go from having average size actors playing Michael to a 7 foot tall bodybuilder, WTF. I wish they would have spent a lot more time on it.

I completely agree with you Chad on this one. This is by far the worst of the sequels!!! For all the same reasons that you have said.I'm glad i am not the only one to feel the same way about this.I still say that Nick Castle and Brad Loree are the best Michael myers!!

I have to say, I agree with you on daylight, Rachel, the Myers house, and Michael crying. Accually, They shoudl have kept Rchel getting scissors in the neck and Jamie getting stabbed in the calf. That would have made it a whole lot better. But the worst part of all has to be the charecter of Tina and the way Spitz laughed. Way to annoying for a horror film.

I don't hate this film but there are some things that are just some things in this movie that are just unbearable. Like Michael in a cell (not to mention in cuffs), (been said before) a tear coming from his eye, Tina was annoying sometimes, Jamie being mute for most of the movie, and some other things.

If They had spent maybe 2-6 more months on this movie, I think it could have turned out to be a pretty good movie.

Its would have been better if the script wasn't rushed and the film production wasn't hurried.

Clown cops....
The movie had some potential with Jamie's psychic link, but they blew on the party teens instead of good characters.
It amazes me how studios that make horror films don't stop to think about the stupid stuff, ya know? Why can they treat their horror like they would about dramas? Good story and characters make good films, but they seem to miss that a lot.

Your wrong about the Daylight thing. Micheal has stalked in the Daylight in the first Halloween when Laurie was walking home with Annie Micheal Myers was behind a bush looking at Laurie and when she went home Micheal Myers was in Mr.Riddles backyard looking at Laurie from her window. And in Halloween 6 when he killed Kara's mom in the backyard. And Halloween 5 is not the worst movie the car chase in Halloween 5 was a work of art and when Micheal is chasing Jamie in his house is also a work of art. So if you hate Halloween 5 you must hate Halloween and Halloween 6.
