I think they should of gave her a bigger part in the movie, like they did with Tommy in "Halloween 6"...! ~Christina~

First of all, Rachel says that Laurie used to babysit her, not Lindsey. Also, Lindseys part in H1 was just as big as Tommy's. If it in fact was her than they would have made that clear. She would have been more important to the movie than just a ride to the drug store. They didn't even bring her back in H5. They probably just needed a friend character for Rachel that could drive. The name is probably just coincidence. However, Lindsey and Tommy were like 7 or 8 in H1. Jamie in H4 was 8, in H5, 9. Rachel said Laurie babysat her when she was Jamie's age, which means she would be 8. So, Rachel, Lindsey and Tommy are all the same age.

But Lindsey wasn't a big role in H1. The charecter of Tommy had a much larger part then Lindsey. He was there, in and out from start to finish. Lindsey came in a little between the middle of the movie and stayed till the end.

It's just the kind of plot point that you put some emphases on. It at least would've been clear that it was her.

I don't think Tommy had that much of a bigger part then Lindsey. Yeah you saw him more because he was always with Laurie, but Lindsey should of had a bigger part in the future...! ~Christina~

His role was slightly larger then hers. In movies, the more a charecter appears, the bigger a role they have. Rachel had a big role in H4 cuz she was there alot. In H5 her role was smaller cuz she didn't appear as much.
